For the brave ones who like a refreshing and rejuvenating face wash this will be a real power house that wakes the skin up in the morning and removes all impurities and daily grime before bed. This whole line smells herbal and healthy if you know what I mean. This clear gel is perfect for combination skin, if you have some oiliness and dry spots this will take care of both. The anti-bacterial properties of Mayblossom, Willow Bark and Cypress Oil help clear out the pores and I notice less random breakouts when I use it. Cypress oil is a wonderful detoxifier with antimicrobial properties that even helps to improve energy and circulation, reducing nervous tension and smells fantastic. The face wash has no sulfates and parabens and nasty chemicals that strip glow form our skin and the scent alone makes me feel refreshed and clean but not over cleansed. This leaves my face very smooth a nd ready for eye and face cram.
I often follow this with the face scrub also from REN and few of their serums and creams. The packaging is really pure and pretty and if it wasn’t so expensive I would have probably purchased the whole line on the spot. This wash lasts a long time and you don’t need to use as much, and the skin feels wonderfully clean and purified. Those with really dry skin would probably want to skip this, as a gentle creamy wash would be more suitable.

I have very sensitive skin and acne rosacea, almost all of the cleansers on the market either flare up my rosacea, or I have an allergic reaction to them. I can only use cleansers with natural ingredients and not any chemicals or preservatives in them.
I got a sample of this item from a cosmetic store after looking at all the ingredients, and after trying it, it reduced the oiliness in my skin, reduced the size of my pores slightly, and didn’t trigger my rosacea at all. My skin feels smooth after I wash it, and there is a tingling sensation when you first try it and that’s how you know the cleanser is working on your skin. I use this with the hydra-calm day cream and it makes my skin look good and reduces any redness or itching on my skin due to the dry air.
I would recommend this product to anyone who has combination or oily skin and doesn’t want to use products with chemicals in it and/or has sensitive skin like I do. It is worth every penny to me since it is the only one that works for me. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I have no complaints so far.

Cleanser of my dreams? I think so! So, the price tag is a bit hefty, but all I’ve heard is how long the bottle lasts so that gives me hope. Regardless, I got this in a trial package because I wanted to try the REN Glycolactic peel and the trial pack was cheaper than paying more for something I just wanted to try. So this fabulous little facewash came with it, and boy was I happy it did.
It is a bit runny out of the trial bottle. I can’t say how it is in the full sized bottle because I haven’t bought one yet (but I will!). However, I think that once you get used to the consistency, it’s actually better. You don’t need a lot and it smells fresh and absent of chemicals, which I really like.
I have combination skin, prone to both breakouts and dry skin. This cleanser makes my skin feel divine and helps keep my oiliness at bay without stripping the rest of my face. I’m definitely ready to upgrade from the my Mychelle Fruit Enzyme Cleanser to this because it is just so awesome. Well worth the price!
