Velvet Matte Lip Pencil has a beautifully smooth texture that goes on silky and feels light, and has enough creaminess to look soft and still wear comfortably. It isn’t a true matte, but velvet matte is a fairly accurate description of this pencil’s finish. The shade selection is nicely varied. This pencil’s creaminess is enough to pose a slight problem for those prone to lipstick bleeding into lines around the mouth, and the sharpening and resharpening is just not fun, hence the average rating.
