UVA comes through clouds and through glass, and is present from dawn till dusk. Which means there’s no time during the day when sunscreen is not required. However, it is very hard to apply and I do not like how it makes my skin feel — the creme feels very dry as soon as you start blending it in and I end up having to pull at my face trying to blend all the creme. The end result is okay, i.e. no whiteness, but I keep feeling that it dries out and clogs the skin a bit, despite the great ingredients. I have tried applying it both with and without a moisturizer and it does not make much of a difference. Given the price, I expected better quality. I liked it because it had so many great ingredients and essential oils not typically found in sunblock that I wanted to have in a sunblock. Unfortunately they have taken out in the new version some of the ingredients I really loved about it such as Pearl Powder, Helichrysum oil, Acai oil, Neroli hydrosol, etc… and they didn’t lower the price with those having been taken out they added some other things in its place… but they took out those ingredients that I liked about it in the first place… Maybe it was due to the bad economy or because these specific ingredients were harder to get or were more expensive this year. I don’t know the true reason behind the changes, maybe it makes for a easier application with these changes I don’t know…You decide! Personally if I was to change it I would have taken out the Red Palm Oil(Causes breakouts in some people) and Lecithin(also may cause breakouts) since I recently found out my skin is not tolerant to it..but they kept that in there of course because it helps things mix better and I guess there is no other option on their end of things.Anyhow for those interested I have put down the ingredients below for both so you are aware.
