My Thoughts:
I purchased this product as part of the Natural Beauty set from Sephora back in December 2009. I did not use much of it, as I found it to be too shimmery for me. This bronzer has since been reformulated. It received a hazard rating of 9 in the last review in 2009 on the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database website (see: http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/product/235493/tarte_mineral_powder_Bronzer%2C_Hotel_Heiress/) The new list of ingredients seems to be a big improvement over the old formulation, though it still contains some questionable and moderately hazardous components which appear relatively high on the ingredient list.

The following is a brand review of Tarte Cosmetics from the Beautypedia website:
Strengths: Excellent selection of foundations; great cheek stains; superior pressed powder and eyelining pencils; one excellent mascara; unique, innovative, beautiful packaging; great cream lipstick options; complete ingredient lists on the company’s Web site.
Weaknesses: Expensive; mostly poor mascaras; no customer service phone number; gimmicky products and nutraceutical claims; no matte eyeshadow options.
