Anti-Aging Facial Sunscreen EURO SPF15 UVA This is the new 2009 Euro-spec formulation to meet the 2009 EU SPF Regulation changes. This is the original Anti-Aging SPF 20 FACE reformulated with a blend of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in order to provide the higher UVA protection. Given that the EU rules require UVA be 1/3rd of the total SPF, the SPF 5 UVA rating results in an overall SPF of 15 for the product, even though the UVB rating is significantly higher. There is NO BETTER all-natural, mineral based protection available – good UVA protection, e xcellent UVB protection, and remember that only mineral based sunscreen effectively protects against UVC rays. NOTE that zinc oxide is in NANOPARTICLE form, but is coated in stearic acid to render it inert and hence harmless in the body. 2-In-1 Facial Sunscreen and Moisturizer SPF 15 is especially developed for delicate facial skin. Packed with organic plant oils and shea butter, it intensively moisturizes and protects. Extracts of witch hazel and liquorice help soothe redness and irritation. Caffeine extract stimulates the skin's micro circulation, boosting blood flow, while butcher's broom is included to help strengthen and firm. Hyaluronic acid and aloe vera gel provide skin with a high level of hydration. Organic, cold pressed sunflower oil is a potent source of vitamin E, beta-carotene and unsaturated fatty acids, offering ski n a high level of protection and care. This light fluid does not co ntain any PEG emulsifiers or PABA, which can irritate sun exposed skin. Free of oxybenzone and cetyl cinnamates, which can mimic the effects of estrogen in the body. This review is from: SPF 15 UVA Sensitive Anti Aging Sunscreen – 1.6 oz – Lotion (Health and Beauty) This stuff is awful!! It is very oily and greasy. It really sticks to your skin, making it feel suffocated and shiny, but at the same time, rubs off on anything you touch. The tube says it goes on transparent, but it doesn’t. It goes on very white and stays white until you wash it off twice. I tried it once and hated it. I gave it to my husband to try it. He hated it so much, he threw it away. So don’t waste your money on this sunscreen. I’d rather take any risks using chemical sunscreens, than using this natural, very yucky stuff. |
