Here is the Beautypedia Review for Nars Blush:

Blush is definitely the star attraction of this line and it’s easy to see why. These have a splendid texture and apply beautifully with a sheer initial application that builds to any depth of color you want because most of the 24 colors have strong pigment (a plus for women with dark skin). The following shades are almost matte and highly recommended: Amour, Desire, Exhibit A, Gina, Gilda, and Mata Hari. The very shiny shades, which you should consider carefully, include Angelika, Lovejoy, and Torrid. The remaining palette feature shiny shades that aren’t the best for daytime makeup, but are great for a sultry evening look.

Here is the Allure Best of Beauty Review for Hall of Fame Winner – Nars Blush in Orgasm:

Smooth and refined, this peachy pink cheek color manages to turn us on, year in and year out. Makeup artist François Nars designed the powder blush in 1999 to mimic the glow one might have following a good romp. “I wanted something audacious, yet easy for everyone to wear,” he says. He spent months tweaking the levels of pink pigment and gold shimmer to make “Orgasm look good on practically everybody.” Makeup artist Chrisanne Davis, who has used the formula on Scarlett Johansson and Naomi Campbell, describes it as “a perfect balance that adds vibrancy to the skin.” Still, Nars says he never anticipated the blush’s success: “I think it was a combination of the shade and the name that made it so popular.”

WHAT IT IS:
A pressed powder blush

HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS:
The peachy pink powder is sheer, highly pigmented, and has a golden shimmer.

WHY WE LIKE IT:
Without hesitation, this shade—a multiple-year Best of Beauty winner—looks good on just about everybody, creating a soft, convincing flush on fair skin and lending warmth and sparkle to darker complexions. You need only a light dusting, and the color stays true and strong till you take it off. If the shimmer seems too much for day, save this for nights out.

AWARDS:
Best of Beauty 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, and 2004; Best of Beauty Hall of Fame 2011; Readers’ Choice 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, and 2002
