I got this as a sample from Sephora yesterday and I used it the same night. When I squeezed it in my hand, first thing that i noticed was the smell. The smell was horrible, atleast to me. It almost smelled like chopped cilantro, oregano, and parsley combined, which is weird because I love the smell of those herbs. The color looked different from the usual face masks I’ve tried and had tiny bits of “dried herbs”.. I guess they put it to make is as a 2-in-1 facial mask/scrub. I exfoliated my face, concentrating on my cheeks for about 2 minutes and let it sit for about 15 minutes. When I washed off the mask, I noticed my skin was really red from my cheeks… My skin is sensitive so I guess its not good for people with sensitive skin to rub it for 2 minutes. On the bright side, my skin became really soft and smooth and my pores shrunk a little bit. I loved the res ults and the next day the redness from my cheeks subsided, so its not really a big deal to exfoliate if you have sensitive skin since it does go away the next morning. I would definitely buy this product… once I have enough $ $ $ ;D The price is pretty high, (i normally spend -5 worth of masks) but then again, it is organic… and organic products tend to cost more than the regular ones. over all, great product, a must have for people who have been looking for a good mask! organic is the way to go. Best facemask EVER!, May 31, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Pangea Organics Facial Mask Japanese Matcha Tea With Acai and Gojo Berry — 4 fl oz (Misc.) I had got a free sample package of this and loved it so much I purchased a tube. The first time I used it I mentioned to my husband that I had tried out a new mask and he said, “I thought your skin looked different”. Wow! He noticed. Must be great. Good Mess, March 24, 2011 By This review is from: Pangea Organics Facial Mask Japanese Matcha Tea With Acai and Gojo Berry — 4 fl oz (Misc.) I am a beauty junkie, and pride myself on trying everything. I love things made in the usof a. and only buy local, This one will definitely work well A+, wake you up, make your face feel crisp, bright, awake, and squeaky clean after all is said and done. But, It looks really ugly while it’s on so make sure you are alone. Seriously, this mud has twigs and branches, which tells you it’s good and organic, BUT. Good luck cleaning out your sink drains when you are done, and good luck bleaching your wash cloths. My only advice is do not use a white one as the tea in this mask will stain everything it comes into contact with. On the high note, because everything should finish as such, this mask smells great and contains tons upon tons of antioxidants that will wake up your skin. I looked younger after using it and definitely loved the aromatherapy aspect. |
